Get to Work! Job search support group
1/29/2013 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
How’s your job search going? Feel like you’re taking on the world by yourself? How would you like some real support for your search?
That’s what Get to Work! is all about.
What’s in it for you:
In Get to Work! meetings you’ll get support from the group, learn a lot through assigned readings and activities, and through the experience of other members and guest speakers.
You’ll also benefit from supporting other members.
Best of all, you’ll increase your chances of getting hired.
Get to Work! Membership requirements:
1. Attend a Get to Work! meeting as a guest (just show up). If you like what goes on, tell the group leader you want to become a member. If there’s an opening for a new member (membership is limited to 10 job searchers), you’ll be invited.
2. Before the next meeting, read the book Get Out of the Herd by the group leader, Jerry Martin (it’s free at http://www.getoutoftheherd.com).
3. Attend the next meeting and be ready to work hard at finding your job and helping others find theirs.
