Kids can “Dig Into Reading” this summer at the library through reading and science activities. Read for at least twenty minutes a day for twenty days to become a 20/20 reader. All 20/20 readers will get a certificate, a free book, and qualify for fun prize drawings.

Our special summer Storytime is Preschool Stories & Science. Enjoy a story and science demonstration followed by hands-on crafts and science activities. Baby Time and Toddler Time return as well, all at their regular times.

¡Hola! Bilingual Craft and Story has kids make a different puppet each week, then use the puppet to help tell a story in Spanish. This program is in English and Spanish. All ages are welcome.

Science Adventure returns for another summer of science fun. Kids who engage in 10 science explorations throughout the summer will qualify for a chance to win an annual family pass to Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum.

Kids of all ages are welcome to our Thursday Summer Fun Shows. Each Thursday from June 20 through July 25 different performers will have free shows in the Oak Room. Bring the family and come early to get a seat!

Everyone is welcome to the cinematic fun of Friday Family Movie Matinees. From June 21 through July 26, join us Fridays at noon in the Oak Room. We’ll feature popular G and PG rated films. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy these fabulous films in air-conditioned comfort.

On Monday afternoons we have programs just for teens. In June, join us for the Kick-off Party on Monday, June 24, at 4:00 PM. We’ll kick back with ice cream sundaes and your favorite online videos. The events continue through July!
